Experiments and surveys are conducted by scientists in Agriculture for new research. They require appropriate statistical designs and sampling techniques to validate data and draw meaningful conclusions. This book is an introductory dealing with the "Experimental Designs and Survey Sampling : Methods and Applications". It is based on U.G.,P.G. Courses in design of experiments and sample survey that I have taught for over 27 years in J.N.Agricultural University, Jabalpur-4 (MP). It also reflects the methods and applications that I have found useful in my own professional teaching and research in the form of different practicals on various aspects. The explanatory materials are brief and systematic in each chapter. The possible varieties of practicals with kinds of data, its stepwise procedure as well as objective types of questions with answers have also been added. # Supplemented with some of the important chapters in experimental designs and survey sampling, this book will be an ideal resource for students, teachers and research workers., The derivations and rigorous proof of the formulae have been kept aside in an effort to make the book useful to the teachers, scientists, biological and agricultural workers with little knowledge of mathematics.
