The volume includes a greater number of experiments. a detailed description of the experimental method with its various terms has been included. It was felt that it will be useful to include a brief theoretical introduction before each chapter and each experiment. In many experiments, a brief indication of the practical implications of the particular experiment in actual life has been given. This was done in the hope that it would help the beginning student to get some idea of the scope of psychology as an applied subject. A number of experiments have been included on social process in view of the increasing theoretical and practical importance of social psychological experiments
