The ICAR-National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NIAP) has accelerated its research efforts to contribute to the agricultural development goals, and foster partnerships with various government departments and research organizations. The year under report witnessed an enhanced level of engagement of scientists with the activities of research, capacity building, and policy communication. In particular, there has been a focus on the measurement of sustainability of agriculture, doubling farmers' income market reforms, and price forecasting. ICAR-NIAP has also stepped up its collaboration with sister institutes of ICAR, state agricultural universities and other academic institutions. The outreach of the capacity building programs and publications have also shown significant improvement. This was clearly evident from the citations of the publications and participation in various activities of the Institute.
